I love sharing my creations through woodcraft, bringing the forest from my shop to your home with various wooden spoons that await your next meal or may simply add that rustic touch to your environment.
With the ever growing rushed pace of our daily lives, I find that so many of us are looking to get back in touch with things less machined and more natural. Many times we find ourselves overstressed and without inner peace which is why I hope your visit here provides you with the enjoyment, interest, and purchase of one of my hand made spoons.
This craft is performed by me using 100 percent hand tools, from felling a tree, sawing a branch, hewing the timber and carving the spoon. I have many wonderful woods to choose from and each spoon has a shape and originality all of it’s own. My inspirations of design range from Swedish Sloyd Craft work to country styled themes.
I am only attempting to carry on a long, respected, and ever challenging tradition by following the steps of master spoon makers and woodworkers. The work seen and sold here is only my version of this wonderful craft. I appreciate and thank all fellow spoon makers and wood crafters for their inspiration.
Nothing here goes to waste in my shop as each wooden plank is hand carved with care and a love for woodcraft. My spoons are finished with health store flax seed oil to add a safe edible golden hue, expressing the gorgeous grains that these beautiful trees showcase as you enjoy using or collecting them.
Hand-carved wooden spoons make wonderfully unique gifts for loved ones or friends, and you may find that one is never enough.
I appreciate your time and look forward to creating more wooden spoons and projects for you to enjoy!
